This isn't much of a shipping edit for dark reylo, but more of a rivalry. Rey falls to the dark side, becoming Palpatine's apprentice. Palpatine and Snoke pin Kylo and Rey against each other, similar to throwing both of them in a boxing ring to see who can last the longest. It isn't until the end that, after being beaten down many times, they both become slightly suspicious of Snoke and Palpatine's agenda.
I feel like the dark!rey tease in the trailer could most likely be a vision, possibly a vision of Ben's or a nightmare that Rey has. JJ Abrams used a lot of whip pans for Rey's vision in TFA, similar to the whip pan that reveals dark!rey. However, i do hope that she does end up being tempted by the dark side, because that would be interesting :P It might also serve as a catalyst that drives Ben to come back to the light somehow...? food for thought. Might save the rest of my theories for another time, possibly in another edit :D

The editing and manips are insanely jaw dropping!! literally the best i've seen of dark!rey edits :DD
