This is something I started working on the week before the SW Rebels finale. Basically I did the middle part and then got stuck lmao bc I needed some voiceovers and whatnot. But I finished it, yay!
It's a live action AU with Ezra Miller fancast as Ezra again bc apparently I'm still not done with this haha.
Storyline:
Maul wants Ezra to become his apprentice, but Ezra isn't so sure about Maul's methods. Nevertheless, Ezra goes with Maul, seeing some truth in what the former Sith has to say. But his trust is misplaced, because Maul takes him to Malachor and tricks him into unlocking an ancient dark power. Filled with this new power, plus affected by the mysterious darkness of Malachor, Ezra falls quickly and Maul exacts his plan for revenge against the Sith. First, they take out Coruscant and the Emperor. Then Maul sends Ezra off to obtain the plans for the Death Star whilst he faces off against Vader. Ezra finds the plans and destroys the Death Star, only his victory is interrupted by a tremor in the Force -- Vader has killed Maul. Ezra rushes off to find Vader and kills him, avenging Maul. But once the adrenaline washes off and he's left standing alone by a funeral pyre, Ezra finds himself questioning why he is where he is and why he's done what he's done.
Voiceovers:
Maul: The next time you hesitate like that, it may cost you your life. Or the lives of your friends. You were given your gift for one reason. To use it. Can I count on you?
Ahsoka: What game are you playing?
Maul: The end game.
