Showcase one of teams named by Red Hook. This video shows 5 win matches.
The Hard Way is a ,,damage-stress" team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Crusader (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
2nd: Man at arms (stress trinket + accuracy trinket) - stress dealer
3rd: Vestal (stun trinket + accuracy trinket) - healer
4th: Plague doctor (stress trinket + accuracy trinket) - stress dealer
PROS:
1) Great stress output
2) Great healing potential
3) 2 disruptors
4) 2 stunners
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
4) Disruption is a menace
5) DoT is a menace
The Hard Way is a weird damage team with great strength of stress and little bit of DoT. You have 3 healers, 2 disruptors and 2 stunners. That’s it, no other advantages. This team is vulnerable against every possible team, no matter on player’s rank.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „support Crusader“, „full damage“, „the finishers“ and „full stress“. I tried both variantions of Man at arms (damager / stresser) and Plague doctor (stress / DoT), for both the stress variantion is much better choice.
My advice: Start with one of your stunners (Crusader / Vestal), next use Man at arms for buffing the team. Lastly Plague doctor for applying stress to the backline.
About score: One match against novice player. After his 2nd turn he just left the game. The match wasn’t even 1 minute long.
About team: Absolute. TRASH. I knew for a long time, this team would be way more difficult than the others and I wasn’t far from that. No great damage output (unless you’ll make Man at arms as damager - „Crush“ or „Rampart“ skill + Crusader), no pressure to the opponent and most importantly disruption will screw you. In first matches I tried to play „mix damage + DoT“ strategy, but that’s worthless. The best way for playing this team is FULL STRESS. DO NOT PLAY „MIX DAMAGE + DOT/STRESS“!
I got only these players and still it was just bad. I lost 4x - once against a champion player with a damage team and 3x against novice players. YES. NOVICE. PLAYERS. Two of them had a stress teams, the last one a mark team. This was humiliating. Luckily I have records of these defeats, so if someone’s interested, feel free to message me, maybe one day I will show you them.
I learned the hard way, that’s impossible to win some matches against harder opponents. Novices? Perhaps. Veteran-Darkests? NO WAY. Still I cannot understand, why the opponent in 4th match surrendered, when he had a chance for victory.
Still, this comp belongs to the bottomless dumpster.
NEVERMORE.

Showcase one of basic teams in Butchers Circus. This video shows 5 win matches.
Iron dog is a ,,damage-stress team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Crusader (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
2nd: Flagellant (Gauntlet of Absolution + damage trinket) - DoT dealer
3rd: Man at arms (Protector’s Kite + stun resist trinket) - guardian
4th: Houndmaster (dodge trinkets) - guardian
PROS:
1) Great damage output
2) Great stress output
3) Great DoT output
4) Great healing potential
5) 2 guardians
6) 2 stunners
CONS:
1) DoT is a menace
2) Stress is a menace
3) Marks are a menace
4) Stuns are a menace
Iron dog is a damage team with great strength of stress and DoT. You have 3 (self)healers, 2 guardians and 2 stunners. Sadly this team is vulnerable against stress and DoT teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „original setup“, „support Crusader“, „the guardians“ and „full stress“. The „original setup“ was took from youtube video of Sheperd Doggy [COMMON FLAGELLANT W! The Butchers Circus]. I tried both variantions of Man at arms (damager / stresser), it’s better to stick with stress variantion.
My advice: Start with Crusader for stunning someone, next use Flagellant for applying DoT. Then Man at arms for buffing the team OR guarding someone. Lastly Houndmaster for guarding someone or applying DoT.
What a good team! The duo „Crusader-Flagellant“ is always great, and if they are supported by one tanky and one dodgy guardians, you can beat everyone very easily. Sadly… I cannot give them the highest rate, because I played only against these players (not challenging) and I lost once against darkest player with a lame based team [Ancient chinese special]. You can make a pressure, healing is good and buffs from Man at arms are always useful. I like the team, but because of players and the score… mid rate.

Showcase one of basic teams in Butchers Circus. This video shows 5 win matches.
AI has better builds comp is a ,,damage-stress team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Crusader (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
2nd: Highwayman (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
3rd: Bounty hunter (Grappling Mits + accuracy trinket) - deathblow dealer
4th: Arbalest (damage trinket + healing trinket) - damage dealer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy (Bounty hunter / Arbalest + Highwayman)
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great healing potential
5) 3 disruptors
6) 3 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) Disruption is a menace
3) DoT is a menace
4) RNGsus is a menace
AI has better builds comp is a damage team, that combines also stress and little bit of DoT. You have 3 disruptors, 3 deathblowers (if we count Arbalest’s „Sniper shot“ on marked character), 2 healers and powerful mark synergy. Unfortunately this team is vulnerable against stress and DoT teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „support Crusader“, „double finisher“, „mark team“ and „full stress“. I tried both variantions of Highwayman (bandit / gunslinger), both variantions are actually good.
My advice: Start with Bounty hunter for disruption, next use Highwayman for opening the riposte, then Crusader for stunning someone and lastly Arbalest for dealing massive damage.
Quite a nice team. The powerful mark synergy between Arbalest and Bounty hunter, stress output from Crusader and Highwayman. You can make easily great pressure to the opponent, BUT beware! Even one little mistake can cost you the whole match. I was defeated 3x - 2x by darkest players with based mark teams [World dominantion + different mark team] and once by… a novice player… with healless team. Yes. HEALLESS TEAM defeats the powerful team. I’m kinda traumatized, because everything worked perfectly, but in one moment RNGsus turns back to me and it was over, nothing I can do. The defeats from darkest players were actually good played matches, but that novice match… embarrassing.
With good setup you can beat everyone, there’s still a chance. But because of players in queue and the score, I can give them only the mid rate. Not bad, but I was hoping for best results.

Showcase one of teams named by Red Hook. This video shows 5 win matches.
Plague bearers is a ,,damage-stress team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Leper (damage trinket + accuracy trinket) - damage dealer
2nd: Grave robber (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
3rd: Plague doctor (accuracy trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Occultist (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy (Occultist + Grave robber)
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) Great healing potential
6) 3 disruptors
7) 2 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
4) DoT is a menace
5) Disruption is a menace
Plague bearers is a damage team with great strength of stress and DoT. All characters can make AoE damage, next you have 3 disruptors, 3 (self)healers, 2 deathblowers (if we count Occultist’s „Sacrificial stab“ on afflicted character) and a mark synergy. Sadly this team is vulnerable against mark and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „the finishers“, „full stress“, „mark team“ and „full DoT“. I tried both variantions of Grave robber (pure damage / DoT stresser), it’s better to stick with DoT variantion. And Plague doctor (stress / DoT), both variantions are good.
My advice: Good choice, if your Leper have a skill „Purge“, if yes, use it as first. Then use one of your disruptors (Plague doctor / Occultist), lastly Grave robber for dealing some damage.
Very long time ago I played a similiar team to this [Outsiders] and it was quite nice, even with defeats. Playing this now, it was a little bit harder. I lost 3x against darkest players, one was playing lame based team, one quite a nice DoT team and one with duo “Flagellant-Crusader”. The main problem of the team is its “fragility”, not much HP and only 1 good damager (Leper). They can be disrupted easily, so that’s another problem. But still you have some chances to beat even harder opponents. Playing this was kinda mid.
