The Emerald Sniper is a ,,damage-stress“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Flagellant (Gauntlet of Absolution + damage trinket) - DoT dealer
2nd: Abomination (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
3rd: Grave robber (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Musketeer (Tincture of Iodine + damage trinket) - healer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy (Musketeer + Grave robber)
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) Great healing potential
6) 2 disruptors
7) 2 deathblowers
8) Disruption isn’t a menace
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
The Emerald Sniper is a nice damage team with great strength of stress and DoT. You have 3 (self)healers, 2 disruptors, 2 deathblowers and a mark synergy. Unfortunately this team is vulnerable against mark and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „mark team“, „original setup“, „the finishers“ and „mix damage + DoT“. I tried both variantions of Abomination (melee beast / DoT puker), the „DoT puker“ is better choice. And Grave robber (pure damage / DoT stresser), both variantions are actually good.
My advice: Start with Abomination for opening the riposte, next use Flagellant for applying DoT, then Grave robber for dealing some damage/stress and lastly Musketeer also for dealing damage.
What a team! I was suprised, how these matches went. Sure, one defeat against darkest player with mark team, but it was a thrilling match. The great team’s advantages are in stress+DoT output. And also the disruption on yours side isn’t problem, everyone can move even with some skills. The „mark team“ isn’t that great, but it’s possible to play it. And honestly I really like „pure damage“ Grave robber here, she can make good pressure to 2 opponent’s characters.
But what was concerning me, after 2nd victory, instead of leveling up in rank, my progress went backwards. How and why? I dunno. Curious.
Anyway, very fun to play, not problems with harder opponents and many possible approaches for playing! Awesome, I love it! You’ve should try it too!
