Definitely one of the worst entities in the game when it comes to disgust factors, but also one of the most intriguing ones. Interestingly named PrinceIzalis (Prince - of? - Izalith) in data, the wall hugger has puzzled the community a lot in terms of lore/cut-content with its resemblance to the Xanthous King Jeremiah and the Design Works interview, where it is said the concept of a 'king' in Izalith was thrown around during development. We do still see Bed of Chaos sitting on its throne, so the mind wonders.

Sound design wise, it's just a funny goober. The sounds aren't too special, but it is nice that there's actually some sort of vocalization going on, and the death sound is unique, albeit reused.

00:20 - Hurt & Death

The thumbnail is a photoshop enlargement (hehe content aware fill) of the Design Works art for this creature.

Give a tip if you so wish!
