With Dark Souls' life cycle coming to an end I decided to propose what I've often considered the end all be it of legitimate challenge runs. Enter NG+7 at SL 1 with nothing more than you start with in a regular NG, not to mention denying yourself the master key. The first half of NG+ and beyond has always bothered me as being too easy due to starting out each time with fully upgraded gear. The first half of the game is usually considered superior to the latter half, so running through it unchecked doesn't do it the justice it deserves. Take that power away and you're left with a much more difficult run worthy of the word "difficult".
This won't be a complete challenge run video series as I don't have the time to commit to it, but it's meant to be a challenge to the community for those hardcore souls players that are looking for the ultimate legitimate challenge that doesn't rely on crazy gimmicks. If enough people like the idea and enjoy the video I may be persuaded to do 1 or 2 more though I can't promise any more than that. Beating Gwyn wouldn't be an issue for me, but if there is any 1 boss that you guys think would represent the ultimate challenge using this ruleset I may record the game far enough to reach him/them.
