The ambitious DS2 Lighting Engine mod on PC adds a suite of upgrades including volumetric fog, world shadows, and high grade ambient occlusion - plus Nvidia DLAA and AMD FSR support. Better still, the Lighting Engine allows others in the modding scene to implement their own changes to the game - with impressive results that would fit our expectations of an official remaster.
