Video showcasing my current goto for killing Archviles with low/no upgrades (mainly for speedruns, though this also helps with the first Archie encounter).
This isn't a 100% consistent strat, but as you can see sometimes I get VERY quick kills on the Archvile (I've had it once where he only teleports one time before being glory killable). Not sure what exactly determines the damage of the Ravager on him, but it's usually a pretty good way to kill him quickly/consistently.
