Fire Dance of Luna
Commissioned by Junyuan Primary School Choir for the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Choirs (2012), this work depicts a fantasy story set in a distant future where people inhabit the moon. The music brings to life fiery, tribal-like rhythms that aim to stir the imagination, illustrating the ‘children of the moon’ dancing around a mountain of raging fire to celebrate their glorious land, ‘Luna’.
