♥ In today's video, I speak about the fear that can possibly stand in the way of your personal growth. It can be painful and scary to grow, to admit that you have been wrong in the past. To admit that you have been an ignorant person. Growth is never smooth sailing and sometimes you might even feel like life was better before you grew and learned what you know today. But we need to take responsibility for how we treat ourselves and others, and by acknowledging that we are far from perfect, we are one step closer to an open-minded, respectful community.
An important thing I want to add to the video is that regardless if a growth journey takes a lifetime, ignorance is never an excuse to treat people with disrespect or discrimination. Personal growth is personal indeed, but it is never okay to treat others poorly just because you have a view that contradicts another person's right to exist.
