♥ Have you ever suffered from apathy? As a symptom of mental illness or as a result of a life event? I hate feeling indifferent. I feel like the worst person to be around because I just can't force myself to care. You could tell me anything and my response would probably be "okay". It's a numb feeling and I don't know how to dig myself out of this hole. Maybe I'll go back to therapy once or twice just to speak to my therapist about it... but even that feels like a stretch. How can I get myself to ask for help when I feel indifferent about that as well? I don't feel like "the world would be better off without me", but sometimes I do feel like people around me would be better off not having to deal with me being like this all the time. That everyone would be happier if I kept to myself and didn't bother them or their lives.
