Approx 4th battery record player by the Famous Dansette brand, This model features the dansette "conqest single play " style/ size cabent, with "tempo" control knobs.
The miniture 4 speed monarch GU 7 fitted with a ful-fi cartridge, Tha amp is pretty much the same used in the early "Diplomat" and the "Classic " battery players,
Earlyer decks had a extra white switch button to start up the turnable, This deck 2nd design uses the "pull arm" to right to click the deck on, and auto cut off when the records finished.
Later version then feature the 2nd design deck but finished in a white & black finish with white turntable matt.
The motor is carbon brush type but unlike most they contain 3 brushes, NOTE dont use oil down the shaft as it causes the motor to play up speed wise, if you need to adjust the speed either try the idler wheel adjustment way, OR on the motor there is a adjustment on the bottom under the outercasing, you will see a small screw, To speed up turn very slightly clockwise.
Other colours ive seen of the cabent are pastle light green, and light pink, this version is a dark sea green.
