early battery transistor record player, runs on 2 x AD28 ( 4.5 v ) batterys .This player is all original no repairs except for the fake battery packs ( 3xC size ) per pack,
The Garrard BA1 deck ( 45 rpm ) first advertised 1956, the record player was stated to be released september 1956 at the price of £14.15. 8d , and avalible in 3 two tone finishes, green/yellow, blue/grey (as in vid ) red/fawn. september 7th 1957 price listed as £19 1/2 Gns
The pick-up is a crystal Garrard GC6 ,thou other models have used GC7 being a crystal cartridge normaly with age these are dead ( no sound ) luckerly this one wasnt.
Battery life approx 100 -120 hours YEAH RIGHT LOL
