Captain O'Kane is a love tune by the Irish composer Turlough O'Carolan. This arrangement by Fredrik Sjölin is from our album 'Keel Road' released August 30 / 2024 on CD, LP and digital: ecm.lnk.to/KeelRoad

The album is a retracing of musical pathways across the North Sea, a journey through the sounds of traditional music from Northern Europe, taking us from Denmark, Norway and Sweden to the Faroe Islands, and to Ireland and England.

Keel Road was recorded at Copenhagen’s Village Recording Studio in November 2022, and mixed at Munich’s Bavaria Musikstudios in March 2024.
