Filmed inside the breakwater at Ludington Michigan during a fierce winter storm. Snow showers limited visibility at times but then lifted for long enough periods to enable video recording of the waves dancing with the south breakwater. The air temperature was only 21 °F, winds WSW at 20 kts gusting to 35 kts. The wind chill was in the agony range. Filmed with a Canon Rebel XTi using a 70-200 mm Canon lens in HD video mode. The tripod was kept at 3' and deeply wedged into shore rocks. Sandblasting was a problem even with only a 10' fetch of frozen sand/ice between the camera and the water. After about 30 minutes the camera malfunctioned because of the cold (or sand). Set to "Christopher's Dreams" by Tim Wenzel - used by my permission ;-). For more info on my music see:
