The Damage Stacking glitch allows Zero to output a ton of damage very quickly onto any enemy that does not get invincibility frames after taking a hit. This trick is super helpful against some of the mini-bosses in the Mega Man Zero series.

Basically if you can hit an enemy with two sources of damage at the same time, the overlapping damage will be calculated on every frame. In other words, if you can hit an enemy with your Boomerang Shield AND your Z-Saber at the same time, the enemy will take damage every frame.

The Damage Stacking glitch can in theory be achieved by any weapon, but it's best to use the Shield Boomerang and either the Z-Saber or the Triple Rod.
