We’re thrilled that our four female Dalmatian pelicans, Volga, Adria, Kerkini, and Tisza are back home on the marsh now that Asian Highlands, the first chapter of Imagine Asia, is open. In the wild, this species has historically been found along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast but has disappeared from its native range due to habitat degradation and is listed by the IUCN Red List as Near Threatened.
