One of our favourite places to see our resident polar bear ‘Siku’ in the Taylor Family Foundation Polar Bear Sanctuary is by the plunge pool! 🐻‍❄️

During a recent pool party, Siku was more interested in hanging out at the edge of the pool than he was in taking a dip, but it gave us the incredible opportunity of seeing how tall he is. 🤯 Polar bears are known for their long torsos which streamline their shape for long-distance swimming through their Arctic home. When he stands with his nose up high, Siku is approximately eight feet and 10 inches tall! 📏
