The German Sport pellets are a great value. To be clear the Legacy is rifled, and looks even better with these wadcutters. The RWS MK pellets are even better in the 35. They are just a few bucks more.
Below is a Daisy dot sight. No adapter needed. But at that LOW price, I would not trade the dot sights I own this product. But being so inexpensive, if it works for you, great! If it doesn't work, better dot sights are out there.

If you want to stay loyal to Daisy, these look good.

The dot sight on this 35 really makes the gun fun to shoot and very reliable in the field. I haven't gotten an opportunity to bag anything yet, but the accuracy on three-dimensional targets has me confident. The hunting shot will land true.
On the dot sight mechanics, I like green 1 for low-light shooting. If it is bright out, you turn the dial towards you to OFF, then one more click to Red 5. On my Legacy, the Red 5 allowed precision on cottontail ribs, and successful pest job on a sunny day.
