⚠️ ALWAYS SET THE SAFETY BEFORE COCKING IT TO INTERACT WITH THE SHOT TUBE ⚠️

I want to credit Mark (also known as Cobalt Super Springs) for being the first old timer, and pro airgunner, to bring to my attention a better way to manage the mechanics of the 25.

At first I didn't buy in because I figured folks would be lazy and not bother toggling the safety. But is occurred to me I DIDN'T ENJOY THE 25 BECAUSE I LOST TRACK OF THE AMMO COUNT. And when I loaded the shot rube I had to tip the barrel down to let the BB roll out to avoid double shot.

I now only interact with the shot tube when the safety is set and the gun is cocked. I enjoy my 25 more than ever now.

25 WEAK POINT

I recently discovered the barrel was LOOSE when I picked it up. I've only seen barrel wiggle like that with Crosman pump guns, when handled roughly.

Some folks have figured out to remove the 25 MASTER SCREW AND NUT that hold the barrel to the reciever, to create a take down gun for backpacking.

Now I say absolutely do not do that. The odds of 25 barrel wiggle and wrecked accuracy go way up. I actually made sure to clean off the screw threads on the right side and the nut, and then treat with thread locker blue.

Also, like a Crosman pump, I will only pick it up and set it down holding LOW on the barrel near the receiver.
