It's that time of year again! When the Daytona 500 comes to town, not only do the USAF Thunderbirds pay a visit, but so do all the Nascar drivers' private jets as well. When the race is over, all of these jets want to leave at the same time, making Daytona International Airport as busy at JFK for a couple of hours. As an added bonus this year, an Air Berlin A330 declared an emergency with smoke in the cockpit on its way to Cancun and diverted to Daytona. All of the passengers were stranded in the terminal until an American A330 was flown in from Philadelphia to fly the passengers the rest of the way to Cancun. This means there were two A330s in Daytona on top of the Thunderbirds and private jets. Enjoy!
