In this video, we take a look at the GIA scale of colorless diamonds (D-F) and perform a comparison of a D vs F diamond ring. Hopefully, these side by side shots will give you an idea of how they look like when worn on a finger.
Also, I've recorded the comparisons of the D against an F diamond in various everyday environments. This is done so to give you a clear visualization of what you will see in real life.
Now, I do want to point out the any color differences between a D and an F are really minute and extremely hard to detect. Personally speaking, the most important attribute of the 4Cs is cut and I recommend that you should prioritize that when shopping for a diamond.
If you are thinking about a D color diamond ring and whether it is a necessity to get the best color rating, these are questions you probably want to think about:
Can you see any visual differences between them?
Are you willing to pay a big price premium for a colorless diamond ring?
