On this week for cyberpunk 2077 news we have brand new concept arts of the Badlands area released by CDPR on twitter. And the confirmation that Dual Wielding will not be present in the final version of the game.

So first up, the most exciting news this week came from Cyberpunk’s own official Twitter account. After giving us a peek earlier at the smog covered and industrial looking area of Santo Domingo, the wealthy Westbrook neighborhood, and more recently the Heywood District, also dubbed as “the biggest bedroom of Night City”- we have now been given a treat into the desolate area called The Badlands.
Located outside Night City, the Badlands consist of extensive plains that are nearly barren of vegetation and life. “Unchecked resource extraction, burning oil fields, rampant pollution; this district makes Night City feel like a rich oasis,” says the tweet. However, there are also “golden opportunities for those in the know.” Those who choose the Nomad Life Path will begin their journey in the Badlands and eventually make their way to Night City.

Next up: Dual Wielding! Now, some of you might have seen some images or statues in which V has been dual wielding his guns, and the prospect of having this feature would have been absolutely cool.
If you were among the many who got their hopes up for this incredible feature to be included in Cyberpunk 2077 though, i’m sorry to say that I have to disappoint you. Marcin Momot - a Global Community Lead at CD Projekt Red- reacted to a question in a tweet from a fan. Her sweet and short answer was: “No dual wielding, sorry”. Ouch, that broke my heart…
