The Valentinos are the largest gang of night city in terms of number count. They have approximately 6000 members and occupy the entire heywood district, being strongly rooted in the local communities. They are representatives of the Chicano culture in Night City, and have cultivated those traditions for more than a century.

Valentinos members openly display their gang tattoos as well as gold jewelry with religious motifs. Santa Muerte and Jesus Malverde being the most popular and recognizable. They are also recognizable by their taste for colorful clothes, pimped lowriders and custom gold-plated guns.

The majority of Valentinos gang members are of Mexican heritage, but other races and ethnic groups are also welcome to join. Members tend to integrate quickly by adopting the Chicano culture and celebrating various Mexican holidays like the Dia de los Muertos for example.
This sense of common heritage binds the gang together with the local people to form one big family. Police or corporate attempts to infiltrate the valentinos almost always fail because of the extreme loyalty from the community. In return for their loyalty, the gangsters protect the whole district. As expected treason inside their ranks are not treated lightly, whoever is dumb enought to make such mistakes are particularly killed in a gruesome way.
On the other hand, Valentinos who died fighting other gangs, police or corpos are often remembered as saints and martyrs, celebrated in song and depicted on murals.
As for revenue, the Valentinos own many legitimate businesses such as restaurants, auto shops and nightclubs. They also have a handful of braindance recording studios, sports-betting casinos and local construction companies. Most of those are also used as a stage for criminal activity, meeting places and money-laundering operations.

Overall, their main source of income are gun smuggling, car theft, drug trafficking, robbery prostitution and illegal modification of weapons and vehicles.
