This video is all about the most iconic vehicle manufacturer of Cyberpunk 2077. The quadra is an American brand that design and produces Muscle cars. Their most famous products are the Turbo-R and the Type-66. Both are solid and reliable choices that are often upgraded for combat use by nomad clans.

The Turbo-R was originally named the Quadra V-Tech, before it was changed to its current name during the first Night City Wire event. With the name change, a badge reading "Turbo-R" is seen on the right side above the taillights where the car's company name is.

The Quadra Turbo-R was introduced as America's response to Japanese sports car manufacturers. It was designed and manufactured in Detroit. With its powerful turbo-charged V8 engine, it instantly became a star in the tuner scene when it was released in the mid 2050s, this was despite its universally criticized suspension. The next version introduced in 2058 was named the Turbo-R V-Tech, and featured an improved exhaust system and suspension, quickly earning it the status of cult muscle car. The most recent version, introduced in 2069, never surpassed the legendary Quadra Turbo-R '58 in the eyes of the many car enthusiasts.

The vehicle is powered by CHOOH2, a standard synthetic alcohol fuel and for more details on the lore behind the ‘Chew two’ fuel check out the videos linked on the description.

The Turbo R's styling is reminiscent of 1980s exotic sports cars, as it is wedge-shaped with bulging wheel arches. It can have an aerodynamic rear spoiler, and numerous light strips serving as brake lights.

On most variants the Turbo R has no rear bumper, leaving the car's exhaust visible. It only has two seats. Structural bracing protrudes from the door sills, and the dashboard features carbon fiber and several screens indicating vehicle status. The gull-wing style steering 'wheel' has two handles for the driver to use.

The car appears to be rear-wheel drive, evidenced by the fact that its rear tires are larger than its front tires. Additionally, the car's exhaust manifold and air intake are visible on the rear, indicating that the car has a rear-mounted engine. The boot is in the front, evidenced by Jackie placing a Militech bot inside of it in the 2018 gameplay reveal.

The Quadra Turbo-R is often confused with its cousin, the Quadra Type-66, the favorite ride for most nomad clans.
As the nomads operate on the city outskirts, their vehicles need to be sturdier than street cars, but Nomads won’t build their cars from scratch. Instead, they just buy a really good, reliable car and make it super-overpowered. They usually replace (or at least tune) the engine, change the suspension, tires and most importantly, they add a ton of armoring. A must have for a serious nomad ride is the replacement of all windows with CrystalDome tech. In a nutshell this tech projects real-time external images onto the vehicle interiors. This means that as you drive those cars you will view the outside through a screen that wraps around you. This is rly dope.
