The RX-7 has come a long way, but there was one thing missing... an audio system that matched the rest of the build.
In this video, I design and build a custom subwoofer enclosure from scratch and install an all-new Alpine sound system in my widebody LS-swapped Mazda RX-7. The goal was simple: create a clean, factory-looking install that still hits hard without sacrificing valuable hatch space.
From measuring and building the enclosure to wiring the amplifiers, tuning the system, and hearing it for the first time, you'll see the entire process—along with the mistakes and lessons learned along the way.
