Create gorgeous, one-of-a-kind flowers out of fabric scraps or your favorite 10" square (Layer Cake) fabric pack. These blooms can be used just about anywhere. Stick them in a burlap wreath, glue to headbands and hats, sew onto decor items... the list is endless.
Use Terial Magic spray to prepare fabric, then cut and assemble with the Clover Mini Iron II's special ball tip, and a felt walnut pad you make yourself. It's a wonderful tool to keep on hand for shaping when ironing (scroll down for instructions).
*We chose to cut ours with the Silhouette Cameo electronic cutting machine (a real time-saver!) or you can cut by hand with our printable template.
Use to decorate the Burlap Wreath (tutorial found here: youtube.com/watch?v=u2Y0Ee_6X1A ), hats and hair accessories, décor projects… the list is endless!
Full Material List:
• 10" square fabric pack (or scraps from your stash)

Please note, we used 3 flower designs by Jamie Cripps purchased from the Silhouette Design Store (56940, 60006, and 60008). Only the petals were used (no stamen, centers or leaves need to be cut). We highly suggest her designs! ☺
Flowers may also be cut by hand with the downloadable template for our NN's petal designs (see link below).

Sewing the Felt Walnut Pad:
1. Cut a rectangle of felt 4-1/2" x 8".
2. Fold in half and stitch together with two rows of stitching, leaving about a 2" opening.
3. Fill tightly with crushed walnut shells (shake each time you add more shells to allow them to settle).
4. Close by hand with a whipstitch.
