Boutique-quality jewelry can be yours with a little help from your embroidery machine. Stitch a quick gift for a friend that matches her interests and personality. Create custom hair accessories for brides and special occasions.
The organza base assures you can use even delicate, feathery designs in your jewelry: the sheer fabric blends beautifully against the wearer's skin.
We chose a pretty motif featuring fresh anemones to grace the collarbone, from Amazing Designs' "Flourishing Flowers" embroidery collection.
Alternatively, you may choose to embroider larger, sturdier designs on cut-away stabilizer (no organza backing fabric needed), backing with Tender Touch, and cutting with our Stencil Cutter, as seen in the Dragon's Lair design near the end of the video.
Full Material List:
• Organza fabric
• Wash-Away Stabilizer
• Embroidery design (we used Amazing Designs' "Flourishing Flowers" #229)
• Wire cutters
• Jewelry chain (ours was from Goodwill)
• Charms, crystals or beads to embellish
• Hand needle, thread, and snips
• Embroidery machine, thread, etc.
Large Design Material List:
• Cut-away stabilizer
• Tender Touch
• Stencil cutting tool
• Embroidery design (we used Amazing Designs' "Dragon's Lair" #113)
• Charms, crystals or beads to embellish
