Once again I want to share and devote to my students and followers more interesting tips used in car upholstery. Specifically on a Nissan truck door panel.
As we can see, I show one way to approach the upholstery of the larger main panel by using an upholstery perforated cloth. I used Eva memory foam 3 mm thick as a padding to shape the low relief lines trying to replicate embossed lines.
The upper long trim was reupholstered in leather. Same leather was used for the armrest.
If you carefully watch the artisan techniques used for this project you will grasp how it was done.
