For Dominic, who I know... knows. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't, if you catch my GIFt. ;) (This is, essentially a GIF, haha, it loops and everything! Highly recommended to right-click the player and check Loop.)
Initial masking done in RunwayML: runwayml.com
Then a run of heavily meticulous clean-ups frame-by-frame in Flash to create the perfect luma mask. And, as you would expect, a lot of layer shuffling!
