What happens when Eastern culture invades the Western church?
What happens to the Church when the traditions and cultures of our society become woven into the fabric of the culture God established through Jesus for His church?
Matthew 5:29-30 NASB
If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell.
What is Jesus actually instructing here? He isn't saying for us to mutilate our own physical bodies as a form of punishment but rather, only someone who is legalistic would say that, but He is rather emphasizing the importance of maintaining the health of the entire body, which is the church. Even being willing to tear off or cut off the parts that causes us to sin, rebel, stumble, or compromise.

Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
The company we keep and are closely associated with will eventually defile us and taint our witness.
2 Corinthians 6:17 NASB
“Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. “And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you.”
In the collective church today, there has been a collision of Eastern religion and tradition with the western’s iteration of the church. Where traditions and rituals from Hindus, Catholics, Muslims, Kabbal, Buddhism, and New Age have infiltrated our lives, culture, and church, carefully guarded by the false definition of love and tolerance.
What we tolerate will eventually rule us, and the ruling spirit we establish and tolerate will eventually establish doctrines and cultures which are contrary to the blueprints of the church detailed in the Book of Acts. And, eventually, if embraced, these false teachings will be sown into God's field as doctrine of demons (1 Timothy 4:1).
The truth about church mixture is this. Outside of legalism and blatant occultism, the traditions of man have shaped church culture more than the mystic arts and Satanism ever could.
And, lukewarmness isn't just a measure of sin but also, a measure of mixture, a mixture of legalism, culture, and traditions.
