The target of an annual stewardship drive is typically funds for the church budget. However, as Christian communities of faith ours is less about the church budget (as important as that is) and more about the cultivating of people who lead lives of generosity. As D. Heenan and W. Bennis note, “Generosity is grounded in a profound understanding that we all are in this together… It is only in fruitful alliances with others that we can do great things.”

In this presentation, facilitators Sharon Matsuyama and David Popham share how Year Round Stewardship cultivates an attitude and expectation of generosity.

This presentation was part of the HCUCC May 2023 Virtual Resource Fair.
