A little info on Crysis 3 Remastered…
Released on October 15, 2021, Crysis 3 Remastered serves as the visually overhauled conclusion to the iconic sci-fi trilogy. Set in 2047, the plot follows the super-soldier Prophet as he returns to a post-apocalyptic New York City that has been encased in a massive "Liberty Dome" by the corrupt C.E.L.L. corporation. This "urban jungle" is divided into seven distinct districts, where Prophet must lead a revenge mission to dismantle C.E.L.L. from within while hunting down the Alpha Ceph, the ultimate leader of the alien invasion. The narrative focuses heavily on Prophet’s struggle to retain his humanity as his Nanosuit increasingly merges with alien technology.
Gameplay in the remaster remains centered on the versatile Nanosuit, which allows players to toggle between "Armor" for brute-force tanking and "Cloak" for stealthy infiltration. A signature addition to the third installment is the Predator Bow, a silent weapon that can be fired while cloaked and features various tactical arrow types (electric, explosive, and carbon). While the remaster was praised for its breathtaking lighting, high-resolution textures, and improved performance on modern hardware, its reception was somewhat more mixed regarding the campaign's length and story pacing. Critics generally lauded it as the best-looking entry in the series, though some noted that the removal of the original's multiplayer mode and the relatively short, linear campaign made it feel more like a technical showcase than a full-scale evolution of the franchise.
