Robert of Maine is the young heir of William 'The Bastard' of Normandy. His father's achievements were set to launch him to fame and fortune, but a twist of fate squanders his dreams. A lifework of hard work stands between him and his destiny. Fortunately it doesn’t have to be him that does the work – such begins a path of slovenly subterfuge worthy of a great hero!

This story uses the life of a character in CK2 to create its key events. The video footage is the gameplay that inspired the tale. Can 'poor' Robert escape the devious claws of destiny?!
