After a review of what new secrets of the path the Prince's expedition has found, we follow their quest along the edge of the world's-end forest, towards the outer sea. Their new Helisii subjects talk of a strange people who live on the northern coast, where few ever venture. It becomes obvious that they have joined the Leuthosis in the quest for ancient knowledge, and that they and Leuthosis both are willing to fight ruthlessly to seize more.
