The Switch 2 has dropped, and so we've got new amazing Mario Kart music (along with a bonus game). It's nuts that they went and produced 200+ covers of Mario series music, it's above and beyond and beyond. After the game dropped, I decided to make this OPNA (YM2608) arrangement of my favorite track from the early game - I'm guessing it's probably gonna be a lot of peoples' favorite too.
The lead instrument, which might be a Talkbox(?), was something I initially mistook for some kind of EWI. It has a really interesting sound, so I tried to faithfully replicate the sound with a weird sounding FM patch.
