I've been really enjoying remixing these Origami King battle tracks, I feel like they really work well with my style and I've loved bringing out the wackiness in the main melodies' instrumentation and style.
For this track, I really worked on getting the bass chugs to come through in a powerful way. Thanks to my friend Canana, it just takes an awful lot of detuning to get the type of minor dissonance that I was looking for. I also really enjoyed going all out for the staccato melody starting 36 seconds in. I wanted it to sound like it was bouncing around so I focused hard on the articulation, and I think it turned out really cool.
