It's been a while ... again. Trying to get back in the work-flow, let's see how this works out. Anyway, today's topic is a filter suggested by Enemysfriend22, which cuts a selection up into slices so you can take a better look at them. I hope some of you find use in this. :P

Today I show you my entry for Maizumas 3x3 staircase entrance entry. I decided to go with a seamless design, while still paying attention to speed and size. In the end, these turned out to be its technical specification:
Opening time: 1.6 seconds
Closing time: 1.25 seconds
Size: 15x9x10 (1350 blocks)
It was quite a fun challenge, so Ive got Maizuma to thank for inspiring me to work on this. :) For more information or a short explanation of the machines inner workings, watch the video. Enjoy! Also, anyone who can figure out why I went with birch wooden stairs gets an imaginary diamond. ;-)
