Hey everyone, it's Mike with Drone Deer Recovery!
We broke our own rule and flew in bright sunshine to search for a 140-150 class buck. Sparse blood trail lost after 150-200 yards, with standing corn and limited timber.
Surprise: the buck was alive and bedded with a crossbow bolt ๏ฟผlodged high in the shoulder / neck. ๏ฟผ Also spotted a few coyotes (one with a broken leg) and some unhappy does.
Thermal drones quickly show if a deer is down or still going. Glad we could give the hunter fast answers! Like, subscribe and see you in the next one!
