In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet woolly mammoth applique.

For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used brown, tan, dark brown, cream, light pink and white 4 ply crochet cotton. A crochet hook, I used a 1.5mm hook. Scissors and a darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the woolly mammoth together. Black thread to embroider dots on eyes and markings on the trunk if desired.
The finished size will be 9cm x 10cm (3.5” x 4”) for the larger woolly mammoth, using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small woolly mammoth will be 7cm x 8.5cm (2.75” x 3.5”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
