How to crochet a throw pillow cover? In this crochet pattern, I show you how to make your own throw pillow slip cover using the single-crochet stitch. This crochet pattern is very simple and easy to follow and is great for beginners!

Mountain Throwpillow Slipcover Crochet Pattern:
Crochet Hook: K/6.5MM
Yarn: Any 2 strands of size 4 Medium yarn will work for this project.
18’’ x 18’’ Throw Pillow Insert
4 Tassels (tutorial here: youtu.be/9Ck1SAjIJKY)
*Note: we are going to be crocheting 2 strands of yarn as if they were one strand for this entire project.
Attach yarn to crochet hook using a slip knot.
Row 1: CH 51, turn.
Row 2: Starting in the 2nd CH st from crochet hook, place 1 SC in the BLO of each st in the row (50 total SC st). At the end of the row, turn work toward the starting tail and then place 1 SC in each of the FLO st from Row 1 (this will create a circular pattern) (50 total SC st on this side, 100 SC st in the round).
Row 3: Starting in the 1st SC st from Row, place 1 SC in the BLO of each st in the row (100 total SC st). This will create a continuous loop, or spiral, pattern.
Rows 4 - 49: Place 1 SC in the BLO of each st in each row.
Row 50: Make sure you work this pattern until you make it to one of the natural folds if you lay the throw pillow down on a flat surface. From here, CH 1 and then turn the work. Place 1 SC in the next 50 stitches. CH 1, turn.
Row 51: Place 1 SC in each st in the row (50 total SC st). CH 1, turn.
Rows 52 - 81: Repeat Row 51.
Cut and tie off yarn.
Embroider a mountain.
