#CrochetChevronShawl, #CrochetRippleWrap, #CrochetZigZagShawl

For this shawl I used ww yarn (approx. 1000 yds), and a 6 mm hook. After the set up row, it's a ONE ROW REPEAT.
For a CHUNKY WINTER WRAP, work with an 8 mm hook and chunky yarn.

 ZIG ZAG, CHEVRON, RIPPLE WRAP OR SHAWL

WW YARN, 6 MM CROCHET HOOK
Yarn requirement: Approx. 1000 yds for a 70 inch long shawl

CHAIN 84 FOR A 27 INCH LONG SHAWL
CHAIN 53 FOR A 22 INCH SHAWL


1ST ROW:
1 dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as 2 dc). 
1 dc in each of the next 6 ch.
 *Dc3tog. (double crochet 2 together)
1 dc in each of next 6 ch.
 in the next stitch work: dc, ch 1, dc
1 dc in each of the next 6 ch. 
Rep from * 3 times more. 
Dc3tog. 1 dc in each of the next 6 ch. 
2 dc in the last ch.

2ND ROW:
Ch 3 and turn
 1 dc in the first dc. 
1 dc in each of the next 6 dc.
 *Dc3tog. 
1 dc in each of the next 6 dc.
 in the next ch 1 space: 1 dc. Ch 1, 1 dc 
1 dc in each of the next 6 dc. 
Rep from * 3 times more. 
Dc3tog. 
1 dc in each of the next 6 dc. 
work 2 dc in the last dc.  

REPEAT ROW 2 UNTIL THE SHAWL IS THE LENGTH DESIRED.
