There is a strange ledge on the wall above the door in this location which will activate the door's loading zone in you land on it (this is somewhat difficult). If you pound it...very weird things start to happen.
- All loading zones deactivate
- No two bounce cap on lava
- Dieing does not fade out, you are just stuck staring at the sky forever
- Falling does not kill you
- Pressing X on the gong instantly fades out, cancelling the end of level screen
Unfortunately, canceling the gong early doesn't seem to unlock the next level, so this isn't very useful. I think you should be able to perform the life glitch with it, so I guess you could save time there, but doubtfully enough to make it worthwhile to set up. Expect more information here as I test more side-effects
