Story:
Jay and Penny start to head to the werewolves hideout in order to hide from the oncoming mob. Penny doesn’t want to leave her kids in town alone but Fa overhears them talking and tells Penny that she will take care of her kids for her. The rest of the werewolves head to the hideout whilst Haleth and Kat lead a mob into the woods in order to hunt them down. At the hideout they discuss what to do and Jay decides that they should stay put for now to avoid any further conflict. Jay, Bal and Nick fight about who should train Penny and she settles the debate by asking them all to train her as she needs all the help she can get.
The storm hits the hunting party hard, taking a lot of casualties as the wolves stay safe in their hideout.
After the storm everyone heads back into town and Penny takes a gift of apples to Fa. She asks her to forgive her for yelling at her the other night.and tells her that she is finally ready to hear what her card means. Fa tells her she needs to learn control otherwise something bad could happen. Because of this Penny heads deep into the forest to practice transforming and control. She loses control a bit and ends up naked and disorientated in the woods where Devon finds her. He gives her a blanket to cover herself with and realises she’s a werewolf. Penny begins to freak out when he asks her about it until she senses that he is one too. She asks him how that is possible since she hasn’t seen him at any of the meetings held by the other werewolves and he tells her that he was turned during the storm. Penny invites him to the training with her and the other wolves but he declines.
Penny begins her training but she is very inexperienced and has a lot to learn from the other wolves. Meanwhile back in town Penny is invited to Haleth and Kat’s wedding. She attends and runs into Devon again, the two of them talk until the wedding begins. The wedding is then interrupted by Derek storming in bruised and bloody. He tells everyone that he was attacked by wolves and that there will be more blood unless the hunting stops. He dies and everyone is shocked. The werewolves have another meeting about the situation but before it can start Devon punches Bal in the face. Dev and Jay leave and the others ask Bal what that was about, he tells them that it isn’t important and they get back to the matter at hand. Nick and Gabe accuse Milo of being the one who attacked Derek because he wasn’t with the others that night but he tells them that he was hurt. They don’t believe him and a fight begins with Penny defending Milo. Jay and Devon come back inside and break up the fight, Jay asks Milo where he was during the storm and he says that he was with Kat. (Not shown it being decided that Milo will spy on Kat to figure out what her and Haleth are doing.)
Penny checks Devons hand after the meeting to make sure that he didn’t hurt himself and tells him that she likes having him around.
Penny continues her training slowly getting better. Alice begins to have nightmares about Clayton and Derek and Penny assures her that she won’t let anything happen to her. She starts to train harder for her family. After training one day she is heading home through the woods where Paige spots her. Paige follows her home and starts asking questions. Penny invites her in for tea. Paige and Penny talk about the fear in the town and how they believe werewolves should not be feared.
Penny continues her training and starts to get a lot better.She even manages to beat Nick in a fight. At home one day she hears her sisters giggling loudly so she goes to investigate. She finds them in a tent in the kitchen and discovers that they want to be just like Fa after spending the storm with her. They tell Penny’s fortune with their homemade cards and ask Penny to take them to see Fa so that they can show her. Penny tells them that they can go the next day. The next day they go to Fa’s and show her their cards and she invites them in to tell her fortune. Penny leaves to run errands and goes down to the bakery at the end of the day before picking the kids up. Paige comes into the bakery and greets Penny, when she turns around Paige sees her eyes are black and gold. The Baker notices and tries to attack Penny for being a werewolf. Paige steps in front of Penny to protect her.
Also not shown in the video, Gabe's death which happens shortly after the second meeting. The wolves hold a funeral for both him and Odette.
