Chase State Fishing Lake is home to one the most beautiful waterfalls in Kansas. Chase Lake Falls! We've wanted to visit this popular location for quite awhile, and we finally got our opportunity on a recent trip to go hiking at Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. Located in Cottonwood Falls and near Strong City, KS, Chase Lake Falls is a perfect example of the hidden treasures of the Midwest. The trail is short, but the waterfall itself is worth the trip.
