A reel from Metroid Prime Senior Artist Mike Sneath showing many of the creatures he created for the game. The reel consists of in-game cutscenes and gameplay, as well as test animations. The creatures included are Flaahgra, Meta Ridley, Baby and adult Sheegoths, Metroid Prime (exoskeleton), the Chozo Ghosts, the Sabergauth (a scrapped mammalian boss intended for the Phendrana Drifts), Flying Pirates, the Parasite Queen, the Plated Beetle, Thardus, the Elite Pirates, and regular Space Pirates.
Notably, Flaahgra is present in a swamp-like environment that's very different from the Sunchamber the player battles it in during the finished game, which is seen in the next shot. This may have been part of a concept animation rather than an area that was cut.
