An English language interview Yoshio Sakamoto gave to EFE Agency, an international news agency in Madrid, Spain, about Metroid: Other M. This was uploaded to their YouTube channel and has been reuploaded here for preservation reasons. The interview took place on September 2, 2010, days after the release of Other M in North America. Sakamoto-san discussed the game's focus on Samus's character, the exhaustive search for her actress, and the Wii Remote controls.

During the interview, Sakamoto wore a shirt with artwork of Samus from Super Metroid, which says "Samus Aran returns". He later wore this shirt again during the Treehouse presentation of Metroid: Samus Returns at E3 2017.
