The thumbnail for this video was difficult to decide upon, as there are quite a few amusing screenshot opportunities throughout this video. I'm unnaturally proud of this one; probably because of how great the stunt payoff was, or perhaps because I've raised the bar again for myself. Stunts are getting bigger, and the injuries are becoming more substantial. Hopefully this trend continues until my death, sometime in August.
Rehashing an old stunt in a better setting with the first clip; last time I tied a fire-spinny-apparatus to my hand, it was in a dark area and I chickened out. Renewed commitment to my own demise ensured that this time, the viewer can see the entire performance. It was difficult standing still for that one...if you want to call what I did sitting still. I'd call it "a silly dance" - you be the judge.
I've begun jumping out of trees from greater heights now. Things I hadn't even noticed before are suddenly becoming opportunities for decent stunts. That shipping crate was a good eight feet from the ground, as was the tree I jumped from in the clip directly preceding it. I had hoped to get more footage for this week, but it had been raining for like five days and I've been busy during any time that it hadn't.
