YouTubers try to film an actual movie.
I heard Craterr just a bunch of youtubers that shill camera gear so went on a trip to be a camera operator on an actual film.
Had the opportunity of a lifetime to not only be on a movie set with @connor_mccaskill & @dunnadidit , but to actually be a camera operator for a feature film. I may finally be credited on IMDB (IM a Douchebag) and finally be an actual "professional filmmaker!" 😅😉
In all seriousness, I'm incredibly grateful for @craterrcrew @mondobytes @lukascolombo opening the doors for a Tube-doucher gear nerd like myself to be able to film more things than just vlogs in my backyard at f/1.8 on a random Chinese anamorphic lens in "open gate" thinking it's cinematic.
The film set I was on was for "Father Son Time", (directed by @thejoshlong with Antonio Cisneros @laserbeamfistface as DP) a film about the relationship of an Autistic father and his "neurotypical" son. Coincidentally this hits close to home as I am an Autistic father with an Autistic son, and I'm absolutely ecstatic a film in production will portray aspects of being on the spectrum that the mainstream never does.
