The challenge running scene in the Mega Man community has sadly seen a decline over the years. A major part of that is Capcom's fault, due to the lack of new games for us runners to sink our teeth into and show off to our audiences. But admittedly, some of it falls on us to spice up the formula a bit and boost the entertainment value with something fresh. I'll be sharing just a small insight into what goes through my mind when crafting my own runs, how these games' freeform style allows for all types of playstyles, and the overall goal I personally aim for; all in order to serve up the best runs I can possibly provide to my audience.
Hopefully this video will also be a decent resource for aspiring runners hoping to contribute to keeping this scene of stylish gameplay alive, for I, and others like X MaverickHunter, will not be around forever. The absence of HideOfBeast speaks for itself, as things weren't quite the same without him, and it's a shame that he's mostly forgotten at this point because he was one of the best creators in this scene. My only one desire is that when the day comes for me to finally retire the Magnus Zero channel, there will be more people to pick up where I left off, and even take it to greater heights.
